At Wholeistic Wellness, everything we do is grounded in personal experience, compassion, and a deep commitment to helping others reclaim their health. This July, in recognition of Sarcoma Awareness Month, we pause to honor one of the personal moments that helped shape our mission.
Founder Candice Schutz was moved to pursue holistic healing and wellness coaching after the loss of her first husband to sarcoma, a rare and aggressive cancer. That experience opened her eyes to the emotional and physical toll of illness, and to the need for whole-person care that extends beyond the traditional medical model.
In her Authority Magazine feature, Candice shared how her journey through grief and transformation became the foundation for the work she does today. βIt taught me how important it is to support people not just through their symptoms, but through their stories,β she said.

At Wholeistic Wellness, Candice offers personalized coaching for individuals navigating chronic inflammation, autoimmune illness, and emotional burnout. Her approach centers on empowering clients to make sustainable changes physically, mentally, and spiritually all through education, lifestyle support, and compassionate accountability.
Sarcoma Awareness Month reminds us of where this path began. But more importantly, it reinforces why Wholeistic Wellness exists: to walk alongside those facing lifeβs hardest seasons, and help them find their way back to themselves.
We remember. We honor. And we heal together.
